The ulsu.ie site was re-designed in the Summer of '09 for the new student year with the unions' colours of red, yellow and blue being used. The site aims to take a youthful and edgy approach to displaying information on students rights and upcoming events and news. There is a quite extensive catalogue of information so to keep the site design user-friendly an accordion menu was used for the main navigation. In order to personalise the union a illustration of each officer was placed along the top of every page that linked to their section and information.

The site also incorporates an ents section that details recent and future entertainment events. The site also incorporates the unions' twitter feed on the homepage and allows users to quickly access and follow the twitter feed.
